End of orientation

Ok, just to post up some videos and to tell Zi Qin to cheer up!!!
He sort of went through what I went through during MY orientation where seniors came to the blog and read all the complain posts. I'm glad that I got you guys back then to support and made me stand up for myself. Thanks guys. Too bad ZQ deleted the post which was well written.

And also to Jia Wei which I heard was a little emo due to some personal problem. Cheer up alright?

OK, this is some of the signature hunt things that Deep6 had to go through.

The 1st one was the one I missed where the guys had to sing a song in an Indian-ish way while the gals in a Chinese-ish way while the OOs got to dance around.


This is another one where the members got to stick themselves at the cafeteria wall and they literally stick themselves to the glass wall. Noticed me behind with the notes I was supposed to finish at that hour? LOL

Tired

By the time I reached home last night, it was already 12.30am!!! Variety Night was just so tiring and my group was the last 2nd to perform, so by the time we went on stage it was already 11.30pm...time for brain dead!!!

Anyway, Wen Chern (from my group and was a KBian) actually stays few minutes from my house so I followed him home. On the way, I felt like puking and started to have cold sweats. (Jo Ann, MJ and others please don't kill me) I think I was having low glucose in my system because...err...ya...so I popped sweets into my mouth and keep swallowing in case anti-peristalsis happens. Thank got I reached home without dirtying his parent's car.

Well, my revision is going down the drain and today would be the last day of orientation so I better start being a nerd soon.

One of the group (I think group 11) did a sketch on how we wear masks and not being ourselves. Honestly, that happened to me when I came to IMU because I just can't seem to fit in anywhere. I was out from my comfort zone and hence the real me was burried deep down somewhere. Hence all the emo-ness because I was not me.

BUT recently, thanks to this orientation I found me. I always have random thoughts, random things to say and random actions and I am now random again. Yesterday while checking FB, I saw a sem2 guy with a flute so I send him a message asking if he were a band member. Later, I went to the apartment where the group was gathering and I saw that sem 2 guy. (Mind you, I don't even know him) Instead if just passing by like what I usually do since I step into IMU, I approached him and asked if he's a band member. He WAS!!!! Jing who was beside me said it was weird to see me talking to strangers randomly. LOL

Ok, I'll post pictures and hopefully videos later. The computer in uni sucks because I can't copy and pictures here. So till then, take care =)

Ok, I know the title is lame but well, I am going to introduce to you my beloved group mates =)

See, I AM a good spy because I know all of them!!! Wheee!!!!

The leader of our group is Jia Wei and he's a Singaporean and he just left his NS 2 weeks ago. He's so fit!!! Ya, he's as old as me =P

Meng Yean is a dental student and she was one of the gal to suspect me because she checked her batch's name list. Smart gal =) Joo Yong is another dental gal (nothing much to write about her because not so close to her). Michelle is from Sarawak and she's from Chung Hwa Miri. Hui Yi is from Seremban and she did STPM. I lied to them I did STPM because Shin Long (not in pic) is also from Help so Hui Yi approached me and was complaining how hard the STPM Chem paper was. I was like..err....ya..hahaha

Boh is Kok Weng's cousin from Melaka. He and his family is renting a house at Desa Park City (Ka-ching!!!). Tay is our IMSS (solo performance by the most sporting person on Variety Night) and he's from Johor, Kluang. A very loud and funny guy who sat opposite me on the 1st day =) Zi Qin is from Penang, Chung Ling Air Itam (CK!! Where are you??!!) and he don't really like Penang food LOL. Check out his blog, he's so into politics because it's full of politician's blog links. Eu Gene is another dental student and he just came back from Aus. He acted as the Joker on Dress code 1 and I like his slang =P

Wen Chern is a KB-ian and he knows Chiam and all. (Duh) He's also another funny guy when coupled up with Tom (not in pic) and he really can dance crazily on dress code. Chern Ning is from Kuantan and he's a very blur guy. He reminds me of "Fei Mao" (Shhhh) but he's a very funny guy. Thariq is from Sri Lanka but he has not been staying at Sri Lanka because he stays at London. He's also another guy who suspected me because I was too hyper and he noticed a lot of people keep smiling or waving at me. Nearly got exposed!!

This was taken hours before I revealed myself. Added people are Shahirah seated 4th from right. She's the creative manager of our group LOL. Seated 3rd from right is Amelia, a Singaporean who also suspected me because I was a little too famous. She's one nice gal and she told Jing (another spy) that she feels lonely while I know so many people LOL. Standing beside me is Tom and the guy in red is Shin Long, the Help guy. He's the treasurer and his name has a Long, so I call him Ah Long LOL (he introduced himself as Shin hehe). In purple is Esther (you rock!!) and in black is Si Han (like Si Ham right? LOL) and they are the OOs for this group =)

I really really like this group because they are so enthu, so funny, so sporting, so cooperative and so fun to be with. I really really like them!!! LOL

How I wish I don't have exam in another 8 days so I can join them as a batchmate aka spy longer and experience orientation all over again. Chern Ning keep reminding me that I am a spy, sheesh!!! Hahaha!!! Let me show you more pics of them in action. Pictures are from Esther's blog =)

PS: Tatsuki was so sick that he missed his PBL on Tuesday and if he misses today's PBL, he might be barred from exam so I smsed him and told him what to do BUT his PBL was cancelled today LOL

short updates

Exam is in another 9 days and I am "so prepared".

I still have runny nose and cough. The flu that I am having has been with me for almost a month. I wonder if it has turned to rhinitis.

Orientation goes on like usual.

Tatsuki is VERY sick. He vomited the whole day yesterday. Pity him..

Well, thats all for now, got to go for lab session already.

I think IMU is like incubating the common cold virus because almost everyone in IMU are coughing, sneezing, having fever, flu, runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat etc!!!

The junior's theme is "Ground zero" and we're using the quarantined like storyline where the rabies virus gone wild so us (seniors) were turned into zombies so basically orientation activities revolves around zombies and disgusting stuffs LOL. BUT now, I think instead of rabies virus we have maybe adenovirus, rhinovirus, coronavirus, respiratory syncytial virus, parainfluenza virus...

Step into IMU at your risk LOL

Feeling much better because I had almost 12 hours of sleep =)


PS: Apparently if you sleep less than 7 hours per night, you are three times more likely to develop an infection when exposed to a rhinovirus when compared to those who sleep more than 8 hours per night
