tired!!

I am tired.

Brain dead.

Physically exhausted.

So tired that I nearly fell asleep while teaching ballet.

But lit is still fun even though it is energy sucking.

Drama + birthday surprise =)

Ooo..I'm loving it!!!!

I'm loving the fact that we are making progress!!!

I'm loving the fact that I am getting more enthusiastic!!!

I'm loving the fact that Esther, Teck Han, Cheryl and I came out with dance moves!!!

I'm loving the fact that we rock!!!!


Yesterday was fun!! The drama will be on 16th Dec at 7pm at Audi 1. Everyone is invited and it's free but there is limited space so if you want to watch (me dance for free =P), do tell me so I'll book ticket for you.

It was so much fun organizing everyone, teaching them the dance moves and counting out loud. It seriously reminded me of old band days when I did all these together with the DM. Argh, I miss band life again!! Back to the production. It's gonna be great (I hope) and we'll do our best!!!

What I don't like is the attendance!!!

On Wednesday, Vanessa and I decided to give our ballet teacher a big birthday surprise. Her birthday was yesterday so instead of surprising her yesterday, we did it a day earlier.

So Van baked the cake and with the help of everyone we managed to sneak the cake into the changing room. BUT our dear Frog just didn't know how to react when teacher asked why is she early because Froggie is never early!! LOL

In order to sneak the cake into the ballet class, we cooked up a plan with a student's mother. She'll make teacher sit with her back facing the ballet class so we'll bring the cake in, light up the candle and make a scene to attract teacher's attention.

*FUNNIEST*
After lighting the candle, Cass switched off the lights and Van counted 1,2,3...then....
All 3 (Frog, Cass and Van) SHOUTED!!!!! [Van's idea to shout]
Cass- AAAAhhhhh...cockroach ah!!!! Turned around, walked out of the ballet class and came in (with another expression and tone) What happened? What happened??!! (It's like she has split personality). Then she went and switch on and off the lights and said "Why no light one!! Why why??!!" (Actually the lights were starting to light up and I was worried that she'll really spoil the lights haha)
Frog- .....*looked around then*AAAhhhh....Eeeehhhh...* Jump up and down loudly* (imagining she's jumping on the cockroach)
Van- AAahhhhh.....*looked at cass and froggie* hahahahahahaa.......

Me and Xuan Hui were trying to keep the candle flame on and trying not to laugh..

After a while, teacher was still not coming in so thank god the student's mother asked to check us out. So teacher walked in fumingly and asked "What's wrong ah?!!" Then she was surprised to see us holding a cake and singing birthday song. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

We cut cake, laughed at each other, ate a piece each, dance and laughed and I had headache because I laughed too much I guess LOL. Should have recorded everyone's reaction. Classic!!

Wonder why cockroach?? Because my ballet school is full with it. I have 7am class and that's when my teacher and I can see all of them on the floor either dying or walking around. Eeeuuww!!!

updates

Just finished class and now I have an overall idea on what's going on so getting excited again. Hopefully it'll last till the production day!!!

Just now we had fun in class!!! We came up with characters that are of fault that cause the tragedy and we had a court scenario where we accuse and let the "character" defend him/herself. It was funny and we really had good time!!!

So far classes have been finishing early but today it was way late!! But it was fun =)

4 movie in 3 days =)

So after the one OK movie and one SUCKY movie with Jon on Friday, I went out with mom and sis on Saturday to watch A Christmas Carol.

Well, it was another OK show for me but mother enjoyed it and she was singing the Christmas tunes under her breath. By the way, Jim Carrey is one great actor!!

On Sunday, mother and I went and watched 2012 (FINALLY!!)

This movie gets my thumbs up. Great plot, great soundtrack, great CG effects, great emotion rides and great actors!! The song for the credits is still stuck in my brain till now. Yup, it was that satisfying for me after all the OK and sucky movies. Oh I just found out that Adam Lambert sang the song "Time For Miracles" which is the song that is stuck in my head.

My next movie marathon would include The Princess and the Frog, Sherlock Holmes, Prince of Persia-The Sands of Time and Avatar- The Last Airbender


And I really have to finish my books that I bought the other day too!!! Whee!!!

I was actually so excited about the production but somehow I lost it. I hope I'll get it back soon.

I have been very clumsy lately especially when I'm at the dining table. Something is really going wrong.

Movie that sucks

Yesterday, after rushing from ballet to home then rushed to the train station to get to Uni, I was damp and cold because all the rushing was under the rain. Anyway, train was packed and by time I reached uni the drama practice was over so I went and guide my juniors in their csu.

Next, Jon and I went to Times Square and watched 2 movie and had a sucky Kenny Rogers. I wanted to watch 2012 but Jon watched it twice already so we watched another 2 movies. Lets start with the not bad one then continue with the bad then worse case.

Love Happens

The timing for all the movies was so weird and we ended up watching this. Without any expectation I actually enjoyed it while Jon being a complaint pot did what he does best- complain. Anyway, it was enjoyable and I didn't know Jennifer Aniston looks better as she ages =)

Kenny Rogers Roasters

We ordered 1/2 chicken each with the 3 side dishes and guess what came? Only a 1/4 chicken and the sauce was all wrong!! When we changed it, they just gave us 2 1/4 chicken to make it 1/2!! So disappointing!! The Mac and Cheese was cold, mash potatoes were obviously powder and flour made and the service was so slow. Did I mention that the muffin were getting SMALLER!!!! Such a disappointment. I used to go to Kenny Rogers every Sunday after Sunday school back when I was younger and I still remember the vanilla muffin was so nice and huge!! Argh, so not appetizing now!! =(

New Moon

This. Is. A. Movie. That. Wasted. My. Time. Money. And. Energy.
That magic that people get when they watched Twilight was gone. I could not connect to the movie. I wanted to sleep (for the 1st time in a movie!!) and I was so disappointed. So the front part was so boring. I can stand movies that have lots of talking but this movie was too slow for me and I just can't connect with it. So what I did to make me stay awake was telling myself to look forward to how Jacob changes from human to wolf BUT argh so disappointing also. I just can't tell enough how disappointed I am with this movie. I guess some books are best left untouched.

Okay, enough complaining.

I really enjoyed being a bookstore. I really am. Looking at all the books, I can die happily in a bookstore with all the books surrounding me. We were in Borders and we were nearly late for the 1st movie because books!!!! Books!!! Everywhere!!! Right, I am crazy and I am stopping my nonsense now.

Right, got to get back to finish the books I bought from the sale!! Hehehe
