Best romantic fiction!!

File:PrideAndPrejudiceTitlePage.jpg
I would declare that I find Pride and Prejudice the best romantic fiction ever!!
I like how Elizabeth Bennet is independent and sensible, I like how the feelings between Mr.Darcy and her developed. I love this love story!! I really wish that one day I can experience what she experienced but I know it won't happen because we are not in the 19th century. Oh well, I can dream right?
File:Prideandprejudice-movieposter.jpg
This is the movie version in 2005. There's quite a bit difference between the novel and the movie but I still love them both.

Another few movies that I love would be Disney's Hercules and Mulan.
File:Movie poster mulan.JPG
This is another story on how a girl can be strong (physical and mentally), smart and as good as man. The songs especially "reflection" and the music in this movie is so suitable that I always feel touched. Love it!! Another reason I love it was because I always practice playing some of the songs back in primary school band =P

I love this movie too because of the moral behind it. I don't know why I just love it especially the song "Go The Distance". This movie just makes me feel that I can overcome anything =P

Movies can make you laugh, cry, scared, give you inspiration, feel loved or feel good and this 3 movies give me all the positive feelings.

Anime that I love so far would be Eyeshield 21.

I don't know why but I just feel good after watching it, to see how a nobody found his talent and how his relationships with the people around him develop. Even thinking about it makes me feel like I can be like him- mentally strong =)

I just love watching good movies =)

Oedipus the King- D day

Well, I won't type much so I'm going to put pictures up instead. These pictures are from Esther's, Afiq's and Joanne's camera. Thanks a bunch =)

Before I start the picture, let me introduce the great chorus--> US!!!!
(Our cloak cool right?? Thanks a lot costume people!!)

After much rehearsals, it was time to start. Before that we wore our cloak and walked around the library then we had dinner (a piece of bread and DIY coffee/ tea/ milk/ milo) so I had 3 spoons of coffee + 3 spoons of sugar + 1.5 spoons of milk + 1 huge mountain of milo and half cup of hot water. This concentrated saturated drink allowed me to stay awake until 3am!!

Before the real thing, we took a quite a lot of pictures at the back stage.
Everyone in with Tan Sri Abu Bakar (ex director general of health and current president of IMU) and our literature lecturer Ms. Sheeba

We were meant to be serious but look at the funny faces LOL

I forgot what we were doing =P

Make up on =)

King Laius. If not for him raping Prince Chrysipus, we wont be here with this production LOL!!!
(King Laius raped his student Chrysipus hence got cursed that he'll be killed by his son and the son- Oedipus will marry his wife)

The 3 gals - oracle, blind prophet and Jocasta (at the back is Afiq, our prop master who is so great for coming up with all the props!!)

The other cast + make up people

Drama began
We chorus walked into the pitch dark auditorium with just candle lights (cool effect!!)

The candle dance that Esther, Teck Han, Cheryl and I came up with

The 2 main cast- Oedipus and Jocasta (son turn husband + mother turn wife)

King Oedipus and his brother in law Creon

The Sphinx who guards the gate to Thebes. She'll eat up those who wanna pass the gate of Thebes but can't answer her riddle

INSERT- On Sunday, we had to sing and record the 3 songs that we were dancing to

The 5 shy gals with their dance about the murderer

The dance by us 5 not shy gals dancing to praise the Gods

5 guys who were dancing to express their feelings about the plague

The ending where we describe what fate is all about

After production
Yeah!!! Selective is over!!!!

Last picture together on stage

At back stage posing

The surprise for us from Ms.Sheeba- the cake

Me and Tay (Thanks for coming)

Esther and I =)

Teck Han- the genius behind chorus who came up with the lyrics and words

**************************************************************************

It was a real fun day. Thursday went to Pavilion with Jon, WH and Noel.
Later going out with the 2 guys to watch band comp =)

Before Drama

After the rehearsals, we (chorus) wore our robe/ cloak and walked to the library. Then our choragos (head of chorus) approached people and asked them "Do you know the way to Azkaban" in a scary voice. HAHAHAHA!!!

Later we walked around the library and we planted someone aka Ash and we surrounded him and grabbed him. Next, we dragged him from the chair and to the door. People was starring and typical words were heard "what the hell?". LOL!!!

All this for the sake of OUR FUN and of course for PUBLICITY!!!!

I'm loving every second of my selectives!!!!

PS: Sadly, I am not in the drama booklet because I was late for the photography session. Even my name is not in it ='(

Me singing?!

Yup, it was a Sunday and there I was at Uni singing and recording it with Esther, Nirmal, Joyce, Lois and Teck Han.

This songs are for the dance at some scenes and boy were we crazy!!

We recorded 27 times for 3 songs and this numbers exclude practices and we practiced A LOT!!!

I just can't believe myself singing out loud.

Yes, I was a band member but I play instrument and not sing.

Yesterday was purely singing!!

It was crazy but so much fun!!!

3 songs, different lyrics but almost the same melody.

I really am getting out of my comfort zone.

If you realised, I do not like to perform in public especially when it comes to dancing or singing.

Ya, I play my trumpet solo quite a couple of times but I am more confident in that then to sing or dance.

Anyway, I still can't believe I sang!!! And recorded it!!! And people are dancing to it!!!

Kudos to Esther, Nirmal, Teck Han, Lois and Joyce!!!

We rock man!!!

Hopefully everything turn out right =)
